Shitiest service ever!!!!!! The owner was freakin rude! We waited in line for 1 and half hour and then noticed some one arrived later than us had been seated without reservation because they are regular customers. We asked for explanation but the owner shouted at us saying we could leave if we didn't wanna wait!!!! What a Bull shit!!!! Worst service I ever have encountered which ruined my day!

This is hands down the best Taiwanese food in CA and possibly in the US. Family style, it's not your typical Taiwanese snack joint. My favorite dishes here are fried oysters, dragon beard vegetable, steamed fish, milk fish porridge, and three cups chicken.I would look out for ordering certain dishes since they actually have some pretty pricey stuff on the menu.Lastly, where else can you get Taiwanese-style smoked shark?

I came here once for a family dinner, so I didn't do any of the ordering. Some dishes taste better than others. They have some expensive dishes that aren't worth the money. I remember eating this duck dish that was all skin and bones, but it cost more than $30.Like what others have said, the black cod is definitely a plus. It's just freaking delicious. Even the soy sauce is great; I can just eat several bowls of rice mixed with that soy sauce.I really don't understand why it's called Cafe Fusion. It's straight up a family restaurant. I don't even get a "cafe" vibe.I will definitely have to give this place another try. They have a lot of dishes written on the wall that really captures my attention.I can't really agree if this place is Taiwanese or how authentic it is. Those waitresses there are Fujianese. Also, practically every single Chinese/Taiwanese restaurant in 626 is "authentic." I doubt a Panda Express or a Pick Up Stix can survive in this area.

Excellent food, excellent service. Even the fruit they sell tastes great. It's a 30 minute drive for us but worth it. They have things ont he menu that few other restaurants have.

Authentic Taiwanese food couldn't be any better. You know you're in for good eats when they bring you some complimentary garlic marinated seaweed strings to start. The best dish we had was a cold vegetable dish that I didn't expect to be chilled. On a hot summer day it was crispy and delicious. The steamed kidneys were fresh as can be and actually came with some thin noodles on the side. Bitter melon with beef was solid. Dessert was a shaved ice dish with only pickled mangos, a first for me.

Come here for authentic Taiwanese food. My parents really like this place, and always take my relatives from Taiwan to eat here. My favorite is the cold squid! SO good and difficult to find anywhere else. I remember their seaweed and pretty much any vegetables are good here. I also enjoyed the Three Cup Chicken and the Clam Soup was good as well. Pricey but good quality.

One word...excellent. If you want superb Taiwanese comfort food, this is THE place to go. A bit pricey, but your tast buds will thank you. Had cold lobster / fruit salad, stinky tofu, giant clam, and some clay pot dishes. Even in SGV, there are not too many restraunts of this genre. We even sang kaoroke after dinner!

TAIWANESE FOOD!! Ahhh.. how I heart thee!!This place is not your typical Taiwanese cafe where they serve the ried pork chop rice dish or beef noodle soup. This is more like authentic local family style taiwanese restaurant that serve interesting dishes that are perfect for family dinners.Cold sauteed mountain vegetable- Surprisingly delicious for a cold platter. I saw several people order this dish. I love how its not too salty and you can taste the natural sweetness of the cooked sauteed greens.Ambience- Casual and spacious inside. Apparently there are two big rooms in the restaurant. Tons of asians with their families.Cold squid with slices of ginger- Another great simple dish. Its basically boiled squid served with slices of ginger and a spicy sweet sauce on the side. The squid is perfectly cooked, not too rubbery or hard. The mix of the ginger and squid with the sweet sauce is quite addicting.Grilled mutton fish- Sooo good! They remove all the bones for you and you are left with a generous amount of thin white naturally savory and sweet fish that is perfectly cooked with a squirt of lemon.Scallion and lamb- Thin slice of lamb sauteed with scallions and garlic. The dish is slightly spicy and the garlic is a perfect merry with the lamb. The scallions doesn't mask the natural taste of the lamb so if you are in love with the gamy-ness of lamb, you will enjoy this dish.Three cup chicken with squid and basil in stone pot- Three cup chicken is a classic taiwanese dish that my family loves to order when we are at a taiwanese restaurant. The savory sweet soy taste with the hint of the wine is a perfect blend with the fragrant basil. Their take has squid in the dish as well which I've never had before. Squid meat is tender and perfectly cooked as well.Fried tofu with a gravy of ground pork- Circular fried tofu with ground pork gravy over the top and steamed broccoli surrounds the dish. Another great dish that is perfect with your steamed white rice. The dish is not too salty and I like how the tofu inside reminds me of the chinese style steamed egg. Texture is soft and I like how you could mix the gravy and ground pork with your rice and just feast!OVerall, my family really enjoyed the meal. You come out of the restaurant feeling completely satisfied and full from the great meal. I agree with all the reviewers that it is a great authentic family style Taiwanese restaurant that makes you want to go back to try more interesting dishes on the menu! It is a fusion of deliciousness that I can't wait to try again!FYI: Small parking lot available in the back of the restaurant.

You mean authentic Taiwanese restaurant doesn't serve the same stuff from Sinbala?Yes, you can imagine the shock on my face when I sat down at this restaurant and looked at their menu? I didn't know Taiwanese food can be so expensive! Yeah, you bet I was not prepared to spend more than $25/person getting Taiwanese food that night. After the initial shock from the menu, I was glad that my Taiwanese friends invited me to this dining experience. My favorite dishes from Cafe Fusion was definitely the BLACK COD & the SQUID.Definitely not the typical Taiwanese restaurant where it's flooded with kids screaming for boba and shaved ice, and definitely a great choice if you want to treat family or business partners for food.

I LOVE LOVE the steamed black cod here. It is so buttery and tender and flavored so well ! One of the butteriest fish ive ever eaten :)the traditional marinated clams sorta tasted like raw oysters. It was good but a pain to eat because it was so hard to open. If you have no nails, it takes a while to open as they are shut tight. Also loved the seaweed marinted in garlic & fish liver with cucumber. Yum : )if you are one of those people who cant stand lukewarm or cold tea, youre in luck because the tea is put on top of a candle to keep it hot. : ) however, its not tea leaves. Instead it is those instant package tea leaves.
